    Happy Thanksgiving, everybody.

Maybe they got Razor Shines to be manager, if Jerry M doesn't last? Whatever the reason, I like his looks.

IMFM, you have done it again! I looked over this post in a rather relaxed way and passed several other times and found it fairly innocent. But right now, all of a sudden, I looked at that photo and headline and zap! Each one separately and together feel like the ultimate Rorschach test. You could take that caption in the most sweet or most dirty way - and that photo! And after staring at that guy, I don't know exactly what's going on, except he seems to be quite involved with those pies - anger, hypnosis - not sure. And I hope it can be forgiven that to me, since there is another photo just below, the poor picture quality on my computer makes me wonder if that is Razor Shines. I guess not - who is it? But I do think you need to run a poll asking your loyal readers if they now intend to start shining their razors (uh oh, is that phrase another rorschach?).

Way too much time on your hands.

I am actually happy to see razor and hope he does not suck. We could very easily have renewed our faith in aguayo, just like we did with castillo. Is that really true, that we would not take huston street for frick and frack? Unless street is hurt, that is ridic. Feliciano has no value here or in his own country. I would rather have no lefty relievers than he and shitweiss. Other teams have somehow survived having no lefty relievers. Something for omar to think about. Get good pitchers, Omar. Not matchup pitchers. He will just sign every piece of shit in sight and then pray. I really am considering spending the next two years in a monastery with no television. If only the Jets weren't doing so well.....

You know, if we are bent on signing a 37 year old outfielder, let it be Manny and not Ibanez. He is righty, he is the penultimate slugger, and it ain't my money. Of course the Shitpons won't stand for it.

Cver we're a great team since you are able to bring out the twisted themes i HADN'T thought of. I took the young boy as a reminder of Mo Vaughn, one of this blog's all time faves.

True Katherine, maybe Razor is the Hair apparent! (sorry)

Jdon, definately. If they signed Ibenhad and not Manny, i'd be peaved. That dude just can not field. Whereas Manny will be very entertaining in the field, when he is actually on it. I say offer Manny a reasonable 3 year contract WITH NAMING RIGHTS to the park formerly known as Citifield to make up the difference. Then Manny will always be happy, as he can express himself and his whims on the prgramable marquee. Of course, this means it may one day read "Trade me" Park at Flushing field, but that's the price we have to pay.
I will be angry if I see Pedreadful come out of that pen again.

Mets sign Figgy to a minor league deal. See, this is what I hate. These are the kind of barnacles this team needs to scrape off the hull. Get rid of this flotsam. Cannot help myself. I am fraqught with nautical references. Omar, fire somebody.

Arr. someone needs to walk the plank indeed. let's start with anyone who pitched out of the bullpen!

I canno tell you how disappointing it was. The SNY yodels lead into commercial with a "Mets sign a pitcher" announcement and it is Figgy. Last week one of the blogs had a lengthy bit on a 32 year old lifelong minor leaguer they signed. Omar. you are not a raccoon, keep your nose out of garbage pails.
